The Labcyte Echo 550/555 liquid handlers are increasingly being used by Sample Management and HTS professionals to perform very low volume liquid transfers; their acoustic technology overcomes many of the issues associated with more traditional liquid handlers, such as cross contamination and DMSO usage.
However, rather than just taking the Echo as a simple replacement for traditional liquid handlers RTS has, in partnership with a major pharma company, questioned some of the current accepted models for compound management.This poster will present an overview of the outcome of this process; perhaps a new paradigm in compound management?
