CAI to Develop HRS Risk Assessment Module

Conference Archives, Inc. (CAI) has been selected by the Heart Rhythm Society to develop a Risk Assessment Module for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. This online tool will be available on the Heart Rhythm Society website and will provide instant feedback responses based upon answers selected.

Now Available: The Endocrine Society’s CEU 2008

Conference Archives, Inc. (CAI) releases The Endocrine Society’s Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU) 2008, a digital archive of the latest developments in the treatment of endocrine disorders.  The digital archive is comprised of oral presentations that were digitally captured at CEU 2008 on September 25-28 in Boston, Massachusetts. CEU covers various topics seen in an endocrine practice including, but not limited to, controversies such as how much vitamin D is enough, the target for glycemic control, and adrenal insufficiency in the ICU.

CAI Captures CMS National E-Prescribing Conference

Conference Archives is digitally capturing oral presentations from the National E-prescribing Conference being held in Boston, MA.  The resulting archive of rich media presentations will be made available to health care professionals through various Web sites including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The National E-prescribing Conference discusses the use of e-prescribing and other e-health initiatives to increase patient compliance and overall improved health outcomes, as well as the education of health care professionals on the integration of e-prescribing into their practice.  Among the more than thirty co-sponsors are leading organizations such as the American Medical Association, American Association of Retired Persons, American Pharmacists Association, American College of Physicians, Massachusetts Medical Society, and The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

Event knowledge: a biomedical resource (r)evolution.

The October 2008 issue of Learned Publishing will publish a “Points of View” article by Josh Illig, CAI’s institutional sales and marketing manager, and David Sampson, EVP of CAI’s Medical Content Division, on the importance of archiving event knowledge and its potential impact on the scholarly community. The Association of Professors of Human and Medical Genetics launched a searchable, annotated online question bank as a means of centralizing and managing the collection of questions used for initial and continuing education of APHMG related topics. American Diabetes Association and Ekatius™

ADA partners with CAI to deliver event knowledge to institutions worldwide through Ekatius™.

The American Diabetes Association has signed a two-year agreement with CAI to distribute abstracts, posters, and rich media presentations from its Scientific Sessions and conferences to institutions via Ekatius™. This new partnership will enable the ADA to increase the impact of its event knowledge through global access via libraries and corporations.

New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology 57th Annual Symposium

CAI captures updates on Retina, Ocular Tumors and External Disease symposium for NOAO.

CAI produced enduring materials from this local society meeting. A CD-ROM product, or year-long web access package are available for purchase, and includes all approved content from the conference. Efforts are ongoing to also develop enduring materials from the 2006 Retina program.
